How do I clean the inner pot of a rice cooker?

Cleaning the inner pot of a rice cooker is a relatively simple process. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you:
Unplug the rice cooker: Before starting the cleaning process, make sure the rice cooker is unplugged and completely cooled down to avoid any accidents.
Remove the inner pot: Take out the inner pot from the rice cooker. Most rice cookers have a removable inner pot that you can easily lift out.
Discard leftover rice and water: Dispose of any leftover rice or water in the inner pot. If there is dried rice stuck to the bottom, you can use a soft brush or sponge to loosen it.
Soak in warm soapy water: Fill the sink or a basin with warm water and add a mild dishwashing soap. Place the inner pot in the soapy water and let it soak for about 15-30 minutes. This will help loosen any remaining food particles and make the cleaning process easier.

Scrub the pot: After soaking, take a non-abrasive sponge or dishcloth and gently scrub the inner pot to remove any remaining residue. Pay special attention to the bottom and corners where food particles can accumulate. Avoid using harsh abrasives or metal scrubbers, as they can scratch the surface of the pot.
Rinse thoroughly: Once you've scrubbed the pot, rinse it thoroughly with clean water to remove any soap residue. Make sure to rinse all the soap away to avoid any flavors transferring to your next batch of rice.
Dry completely: After rinsing, wipe the inner pot with a clean, dry cloth or leave it to air dry. Ensure that it is completely dry before placing it back into the rice cooker.
Clean the exterior: While the inner pot is drying, you can clean the exterior of the rice cooker using a damp cloth. Wipe the surface to remove any spills or stains.
Reassemble and store: Once the inner pot is dry, place it back into the rice cooker. Ensure that it is properly seated and secured. Store the rice cooker in a dry and clean location until its next use.
